What is Aplastic Anemia?

Aplastic Anemia is a rare blood disorder that stops bone marrow from producing enough blood cells. This can lead to higher risks of infections, fatigue, bleeding, pale skin, and shallow breathing.

About 300 to 900 people are diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia annually in the United States. The odds of being diagnosed is 2 in 1,000,000 and is most commonly diagnosed to children, teenagers, and older adults.
